She's back!

“I did a lot of wrong things, but since I’ve died and came back, let’s start on a clean slate,” says resurrected Gabisile.

She's back!

When we last saw Gabisile (Baby Cele) in February this year, her lifeless body was rolled in a carpet being thrown into a river by her husband and then-pastor Qhabanga (Siyabonga Shibe). He was convinced that he murdered his wife after he found out Gabisile was the person who killed his other wife Nomcebo (Nombulelo Mhlongo) and their son Khehla ( Thobani Nzuza) and buried them at the church last year.

Initially, everyone just thought that Gabisile was missing when she didn’t turn up for an important church service. The police started searching for her and found pieces of her clothing that washed up on the riverbank. They scoured the river but didn’t find a body. Cunning Qhabanga was afraid that the police will turn to investigate him, so he wanted the matter closed as soon as possible. He, therefore, begged the police to declare his wife dead so that he could have a funeral, even if it was without a body. And in February, Gabi’s empty coffin was buried after a moving service. Qhabanga then decided to leave KwaMashu after selling the church to the highest bidder.

But nothing stays buried too long in KwaMashu – especially if it’s still living and breathing…

I’M BACK

Gabisile rocks up this fortnight and she’s ready for revenge. “Gabisile was saved by a young girl after Qhabanga thought that he had murdered her. She’s been living in a village close to KwaMashu, watching while everyone went about their business thinking that she was dead,” reveals Baby. “Gabisile has been plotting for the perfect opportunity to come back.”
