When it comes to sibling rivalries, few come close to the never-ending turbulent relationship between Bhengu brothers Zimele “Ngcolosi” (Tony Kgoroge) and Phakade (Sandile Dlamini). They have fought over money, women and children since the soapie started in 2018, causing the cavernous divide between the two to widen. But they have managed to somehow make things work. Sadly, it seems that some things just cannot be forgiven…
By now it’s no secret: Phakade had an affair with MaZulu (Leleti Khumalo), his own brother’s wife. And we’re not talking about the first time decades ago. We’re talking about their salacious April fling. In what could easily be considered the worst kept secret, practically everyone knew of Ngcolosi’s wife’s latest betrayal – except him. On the long list of those in the know are Ngcolosi’s mom MaNdlovu (Thembi Mtshali), Bhengu bodyguard and Ngcolosi’s son Nkululeko (Nkanyiso Mchunu), Nkululeko’s mom Thokozile (Nqobile Sipamla) and Phakade’s wife KaMadonsela (now played by Brenda Mhlongo).
