Katlego is suspended from school for stealing an exam paper.
With smaller classes than a typical university and quality education at the fore, the Polokwane Culinary Academy prides itself on grooming the next great chefs. They’ve hired the best lecturers from around the world and “give their students the opportunity of a lifetime to take on the world,” explains Patrick Seleka, who plays student chef Katlego. “But things go and his dreams flop like a bad cake!” Classes were put on hold on Friday 17 November when Chef Marlene (Camilla Waldman) discovered a missing exam paper – and naïve Kat is at the centre of the scandal. He’s already on his lecturer Chef Marlene’s hit list for dating fellow student Candice (Liza van Deventer) but he can’t shake the feeling that he is being set up on Wednesday 22 November. “Why wouldn’t he think that? Kat works hard in everything that he does. He doesn’t go around looking for trouble,” laughs Patrick, “but trouble loves him.”
