FRANCESCA HUNG: 'I learnt from MY MISTAKE'

A year ago, Francesca Hung was embroiled in scandal after her comments on an Instagram video shot backstage at the Miss Universe pageant were slammed as racist. The controversy left her devastated, but now she is fighting back with a new job and a message of hope for multicultural Australia.

As the new face on the entertainment news program E! Australia, Hung will be bringing all the latest showbiz news to our door. “All the stars have aligned, and I feel pretty lucky to have achieved this at such a young age. I am usually in the limelight and at the forefront, so this time I am on the other side. So it’s kind of a behind-the-scenes look into the glitz and glamour.”

Excited about her new gig, the 25-year-old already has a list of Hollywood A-listers she would love to meet. “I’d really like to interview Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and because they’re supposed to be hosting next year’s Golden Globes, I desperately want to pick their brains.”
