When it comes to exercise, are you an early bird or a night owl? Knowing which could make all the difference
Find your FITNESS SQUAD

Do you prefer to get your workouts done early, or do you find your energy later in the day? Maybe you find it easier to squeeze in a Pilates sesh on your lunch hour, or would prefer Saturday morning yoga with a friend.

Kate Kraschnefski, head of compliance and training at the Australian Institute of Fitness, says finding the right workout time can have a big impact on how successful you are at maintaining your routine.

“We are all unique individuals, and will have an ideal time of day to train for performance, but if that doesn’t work with your schedule, and you are not adherent, you won’t see results,” she says. “The best time of day for you to train is the one you can stick to and that makes you feel good.”
