HARVEY WEINSTEIN - FOREVER GUILTY

After a six-week trial, a jury of five women and seven men took four days to reach a verdict in the trial of Harvey Weinstein, finding the former film boss guilty of a criminal sexual act in the first degree and rape in the third degree. He was acquitted on three other charges, including first-degree rape. More than 80 women have claimed Weinstein victimised them, but charges in the Manhattan trial focused on two women: former assistant Miriam ‘Mimi’ Haley and aspiring actress Jessica Mann.

In her testimony, Haley recounted an incident in 2006 at Weinstein’s apartment. “He pushed me down. He held me down by my arms,” she testified. “I said, ‘No!’ I said, ‘No, no!’ I didn’t know what was actually happening. This is me being raped.
