To the outsider, the modelling world seems all about beauty, luxury and glamour. But in reality, there can be a dark side. New Yorker and former model Sara Ziff has made it her life’s work to stand up for the rights of those making a living from their looks. At 18 years old, she had the world at her feet. Having been discovered on the street at 14, Ziff was paying her way through Columbia University while landing modelling gigs for the likes of Gap and Tommy Hilfiger.
