One very good thing about vivo which allows it to be in the ace of top competitors is the broad frame of the company which incorporates all the price segment and does not focus on emphasizing too much only on one area and the best example of it could be the launch of its new U series phone mostly known for its budget range. The successor of the previous U10 the new vivo U20 is the latest launch from the company. While the competition in the mid-range segment is heating up and meanwhile launching a budget range phone shows that the company is well aware of the market demands and modulates itself according to it. So let’s check out the new vivo U20 in this review of ours.
Design
The new vivo U20 holds an aesthetic appeal to it which comes from the racing black color of the phone. The shiny color on the rear side also forms some patterns when light falls on it making the phone look very beautiful. The body composition of the phone is of plastic but still, the rear side has a shiny finish to it but this shiny rear side has a disadvantage as well which is that it attracts smudges. The phone has a reasonable body and also fits the palm quite comfortably. The physical overview of the phone includes the power button and the volume rockers on the right side of the phone whereas towards the left side lies the triple slot SIM tray meaning a dedicated slot for microSD card. The top side of the phone is blank and the bottom side of the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, micro USB port, and a speaker grille. The front fascia of the phone is dominated by the screen and at the rear side lies triple rear camera sensors placed vertically enclosed in an aluminum frame followed by an LED flash. At the rear side lies the physical fingerprint sensor which is placed very accurately within easy reach and on top of all it is very quick to respond to the touch.
