The Unstoppable Battlegrounds

Brendan ‘PlayerUnknown’ Greene is the man behind DayZ: Battle Royale, a popular mod-of-a-mod that throws players into a brutal fight to the death inspired by the book and film of the same name. The impressive mod led to a job with Sony, where he worked on H1Z1, but now Greene has created his own game at South Korean studio Bluehole. It’s called PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and you have almost certainly heard of it. It’s been at the top, or near the top, of the Steam charts for weeks, and it has sold well over 2 million copies, earning Greene and Bluehole a reported $60 million in revenue.
