What happened?
Apple showed off the latest versions of its smartphone, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, to fans and journalists at a glitzy event in San Francisco.
Both handsets offer a host of updates and long awaited features, but much of the focus was on the disappearance of the 3.5mm headphone jack in favour of a wireless headphone connection. Apple’s head of marketing, Phil Schiller, said the move showed the company’s “courage to move on, to do something new, that betters all of us”.
