Christmas In.. Windsor
Berkshire Life|November 2017

The seasonal wonders of the Royal town and Eton ensure an unbeatable feast of fun for all the family

Christmas In.. Windsor

IT’S hard to know where to start here as the two towns, with their unbeatable mix of history and top class shopping provide great entertainment during any day out. But at Christmas it’s very special indeed.

Let’s begin with the popular Reindeer Parade – this is set to start from in front of the Castle at 2pm on 2 December and then head off through the town to Windsor Yards (King Edward Court) where there will be a viewing area to see the reindeer. Here, hot chocolate, minced pies and mulled wine will be offered, subject to availability.

But before that we have the switching on of the lights in Windsor on 18 November, sponsored by Windsor Royal Shopping, now celebrating 20 years in the town as a ‘must visit’ destination with its mix of food, top fashion and gift treats.
