My Favourite Surrey

To me, home is…

Being with my family, dogs, a roaring log fire, wet oil paintings by my sister, wildlife artist Emily Lamb, hanging to dry on the Aga. Our family home in Ewhurst is a true sanctuary for animals and people alike.

The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation is currently celebrating its 35th year, do you have any events planned?

Our annual art competition, Wildlife Artist of the Year opens in London at the Mall Galleries from May 27 to 31 and we’ll be marking 35 years of conservation alongside the exhibition, a breath-taking celebration of our art heritage. A beautiful way of supporting conservation efforts across African and Asia is by purchasing some of the world’s finest and most sought-after wildlife art – which we specialize in at DSWF.

What are the current biggest threats to wildlife conservation in Africa and Asia?
