Uniting With The Depth

Though a wave can never be away from the ocean, it still cannot see the dignity of the ocean, or the depth of the ocean, if it is too turbulent. “Perception comes only when the mind is connected with the centre and the external instrument. The mind, in conjunction with the intellect, experiences sense objects through the senses.”

Perception comes only when the mind is connected with the centre, the intellect - that is the faculty that understands, judges, discriminates. Now, you are listening to me. What am I saying? The sound is travelling and hitting your ear drums, the mind is listening to it, then the intellect inside is connecting to whatever I am saying. It is saying, “Yes” or “No”. Again, it is one Consciousness. One Consciousness has become the intellect, in the centre, the mind, in the middle, the senses in the end and then it experiences the object of the senses.
