Compulsive Eating Is Killing Streisand

LOVE-STARVED diva Barbra Streisand is secretly battling a compulsive eating disorder — and doctors warn the obsession is pushing her to the brink of death!

Streisand, 76, admits she “eats when I’m happy” and also wolfs down buckwheat pancakes smothered with butter and maple syrup when she’s sad!

Dr. Stuart Fischer tells GLOBE the Oscar-winning songbird is on a destructive path that puts her at high risk to deadly medical conditions.

“Overeating can obviously lead to an increased risk for heart disease and hypertension — plus dozens of other illnesses,” says Fischer, who hasn’t treated the actress.

“Pancakes, syrup and butter cannot solve any of life’s problems.”
