Hubby’s mistress tore off songbird’s wig in shocking public showdown

COUNTRY queen Dolly Parton’s bizarre 51-year marriage to homebody Carl Dean hit the skids after she caught him cheating and had an explosive showdown with his pretty mistress!

That’s the bombshell revelation from Dolly’s Aunt Dale, who said Dolly and Carl didn’t eat together or sleep in the same bed for weeks after the affair.

Amazingly, the wedge between them continues — even now the couple goes their separate ways.

In a shocking exclusive, a resident of Brentwood, Tenn., where Dolly has a 63-acre estate, tells GLOBE even as recently as last month the buxom beauty, 71, and Carl, 75, are “never” seen together around town.

Photographer Denis Carey adds Carl has even been known to pull a paper bag over his head because “he just doesn’t want to be known as Mr. Dolly Parton!

“Most husbands would be by their wife’s side, supporting them at gigs and making sure they are a big part of their life — but not Carl.”

Dolly’s own cheating is to blame for the shredded marriage that appears to have been a sham for decades, her aunt claimed.
