MacGyver's Eating Himself to Death!

BITTER over being replaced by TV’s new red-hot MacGyver remake, original star Richard Dean Anderson is pigging out on food for comfort and has exploded to a whopping 267 pounds.

A pal tells GLOBE the 6-foot-1 actor is “eating himself to death!”

Sadly, 66-year-old Richard is freaked out by the huge success of CBS’ new series starring Lucas Till and is binge eating to ease his anxiety, sources say.

He’s gobbling like there’s no tomorrow and packed on at least 40 pounds in just nine weeks, sources say.

“Richard is afraid that people have forgotten him as the original MacGyver and he’s very upset by the new show — especially with it doing so well in its premiere!” says the source.
