Novelist charged with blowing away top chef husband

Murder, She Wrote!

IT WAS a novel idea!

First, romance writer Nancy Crampton-Brophy penned an essay titled How to Murder Your Husband — and now she’s accused of doing it in real life!

In her 2011 piece, Brophy outlined a list of ways — from guns to knives to poison to hiring a hit man — to off a spouse without getting caught.

Now she’s behind bars — charged with using her murderous research to kill her husband of 27 years!

Daniel Brophy, a beloved 63-year-old chef, was fatally shot at his workplace at the Oregon Culinary Institute on June 2.
