The devastating news bared by Glenn Cosby’s V103 radio show comes as the superstar, 78, is still reeling over her 59-year-old son Craig’s death in July from a self inflicted gunshot wound.

“Tina had a fondness for Craig because he represented a more innocent time in her life,” says a source, who calls his suicide the kind of tragedy “she won’t recover from.”

Tina herself said scattering her firstborn’s ashes was her “saddest day” as a mother.
