What is your daily writing routine like?
At the moment my baseline day is to write prose in the morning, then get admin, edits or non-prose writing work done in the pm. This changes as I get towards the end of a project because things always speed up around then. I’ll start to crowbar in extra writing sessions to burn through the last few chapters and just blitz the final sections in one go.
Do you find it helpful to listen to music while writing?
I’ve always written to music but I can’t handle anything with lyrics– no songs at all. I have various playlists for different moods.
