Homicide cop Harry Bosch probes the murder of an La civil-rights lawyer
When it comes to slick, intelligent US crime dramas, you won’t find many better than Bosch.
Based on the bestselling books by Michael Connelly, the series is one of Amazon’s most popular and long-running shows, and stars Titus Welliver as prickly, rule-breaking Los Angeles detective Harry Bosch.
As the show returns for a fourth season this week, Bosch heads up a police task force when civil-rights lawyer Harold Elias is shot dead the night before he is due in court to represent a black client suing the LAPD after claiming he was tortured in police custody.
With the city’s black population now on the verge of rioting, the homicide detective is forced to investigate the possibility that one of his own police colleagues committed the murder.
