NEW DRAMA

Anatomy of a Scandal

From Good Friday, Netflix

As the brains behind Big Little Lies and The Undoing, producer David E Kelley is a master at creating edge-of-the-seat tales of privilege and scandal - and he's come up with another winner with this new psychological thriller set within Westminster's corridors of power.

Based on Sarah Vaughan's bestselling 2018 novel, the six-part drama tells the story of Sophie Whitehouse, an Oxford graduate and mother of two whose life is turned upside down when her politician husband, James, is accused of sexually assaulting an aide.

Suddenly, the couple's seemingly perfect marriage is rocked to its very foundations. And as James goes on trial, Sophie starts to question the man she loves.

‘I was a huge fan of the book and especially my character, Sophie, says Sienna Miller. 'She moves from being a woman who's preserving her perfect life by refusing to see what's in front of her, to one who will sacrifice everything for the truth. She's facing the consequences of the decisions she has made in her life of privilege. I love her journey and who she is by the end?

FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE

An ambitious junior minister in a Conservative government, James Whitehouse (Rupert Friend) admits to an affair with his aide, Olivia Lytton (Naomi Scott), but he vehemently claims his innocence when she accuses him of raping her in a House of Commons lift.
