How Westworld Helped Evan Rachel Wood Confront A Painful Past
The prospects don’t look that great for the humans trapped inside the futuristic Wild West theme park in Sky Atlantic’s android drama Westworld.
In the first two episodes we’ve seen kindly rancher’s daughter and robot rebel Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) lead a rampage, hunting down the corporate executives she blames for inflicting abuse and violence on the park’s artificially designed hosts.
So, how much of Dolores’ hatred for humanity stems from her awakened consciousness of the crimes, and how much is the result of being part-programmed as another Wild West character – the evil gunslinger Wyatt?
