The Marvelous Mrs Maisel
NEW Genre: Comedy drama Available: Friday 6 December Season: 3 Runs: 45-60min TVSW says: Unmissable
Awards rained down on Amazon Prime Video’s 1950s-set comedy drama The Marvelous Mrs Maisel in its first two seasons, including two Golden Globes and an Emmy for Rachel Brosnahan, so it’s no surprise the show is back for a third run.
As 1960 dawns, the action picks up with Brosnahan’s character, Miriam ‘Midge’ Maisel, a Jewish New York housewife turned stand-up comedian, getting her big break when she heads off on a US tour supporting famous singer Shy Baldwin (Leroy McClain).
