Kin
NEW : Genre: Drama Available: Thu 24 Feb Season: 1
Episode: 8 Runs: 50min TVSW says: Thrilling saga
After his role as Daredevil in the superhero series of the same name, Charlie Cox is back on our screens this week as Michael Kinsella, an Irishman who finds himself in the middle of a bloody gangland battle in Dublin when he's released from prison after eight years inside.
Michael's criminal family is involved in a turf war with a rival gang, and when a deadly incident tears the close-knit Kinsellas apart, they are hell-bent on revenge - even though they are outnumbered and outgunned.
After his release, Michael seems like a changed man, devoted to seeing his daughter, Anna, but will he stay on the straight and narrow, or will he resort to the violence of his past?
The cast includes Emmett J Scanlan as Michael's brother, Jimmy, and Aidan Gillen as their father, Frank, while Ciarán Hinds plays Eamon Cunningham, leader of the rival gang.
