Max Irons plays a Cia analyst on the run after uncovering a conspiracy
In the new espionage thriller Condor, which starts with a double bill on Universal this week, Max Irons plays young CIA analyst Joe Turner, who inadvertently uncovers a far-reaching conspiracy and is forced to go on the run.
The 10-part series is an updated adaptation of James Grady’s novel Six Days of the Condor, which was made into a classic 1975 film starring Robert Redford.
Although Redford is a tough act to follow, Irons – who can also be seen in BBC1’s The Little Drummer Girl this week – reckons the series is able to go deeper into the story than the movie could.
