Friday Night Dinners Tom Rosenthal gets abusive as Roast Battle returns
NEW COMEDY
Roast Battle
Monday-Friday, Comedy Central HD, 10pm
As prank-loving estate agent Jonny Goodman in C4 comedy Friday Night Dinner, comedian Tom Rosenthal is used to trading insults with his strait-laced screen brother Adam, played by Simon Bird.
However, this week, the 30-year-old ramps up the verbal abuse when he takes part in the brand-new series of Roast Battle, running from Monday to Friday on Comedy Central.
Each episode features comedians going head-to-head, trying to bring down their opponent with a barrage of the most offensive, tasteless and funny jokes, before judges Jimmy Carr, Katherine Ryan and Jonathan Ross (who replaces first-series judge Russell Brand) declare the winner.
