There’s a treat for The League of Gentlemen fans this week when BBC2 screens a special live performance from London’s Hammersmith Apollo.
Last year, Steve Pemberton, Reece Shearsmith, Mark Gatiss and co-creator Jeremy Dyson took Royston Vasey on the road for a series of acclaimed live shows around the UK.
It included many of their best-loved characters, such as German teacher Herr Lipp, veteran rocker failure Les McQueen and job-centre bully Pauline, with the team also dressed in tuxedos to revisit classic sketches.
