After filming on the high-stakes finance drama was disrupted by the pandemic, US drama Billions finally returns to Sky Atlantic this week with the second half of season five – and more power battles and personal vendettas.
When we left off, billionaire hedge-fund manager Bobby ‘Axe’ Axelrod, played by Damian Lewis, was setting up a new bank, while his adversary, New York Attorney General Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti), had increased his efforts to nail him.
