Anna Friel stars in a new drama about three women whose secrets and lies become intertwined be eath
With its soaring high peaks, serene bodies of water and sleepy villages, the Lake District in Cumbria is one of the most idyllic parts of the UK.
But all that natural beauty and tranquillity hides a murky world of secrets, lies and deceit in ITV’s new drama Deep Water, penned by Mrs Wilson writer Anna Symon and adapted from the Windermere series of novels by acclaimed author Paula Daly.
The six-part series follows three women – Lisa Kallisto (Marcella’s Anna Friel), Roz Toovey (Little Boy Blue’s Sinead Keenan) and Kate Riverty (Rellik’s Rosalind Eleazar) – who have got to know each other at the school gates. But their lives become intertwined in a much darker way because of the fateful choices they make.
