The survivors face a terrifying new threat from the deadly Whisperers
The Walking Dead packed plenty of action into its latest season before taking a mid-season break in November.
After an injured Rick Grimes was helicoptered from the zombie drama for good, a six-year time jump saw the survivors struggling for supplies, Michonne with another child, Maggie leaving the group, and arch-villain Negan escaping from captivity.
Then, in the nerve-jangling last episode, Jesus was stabbed to death by a merciless new menace – The Whisperers (see panel, above).
