Until very recently, the medics had been estranged following a nasty break-up in 2016. This week, however, the ED’s power couple reunite… after a fiery row, of course!
It’s Jacob’s first day in his new role as clinical nurse manager, and he’s not taking any prisoners. When hospital boss Max McGerry (Holby City’s Jo Martin) calls a meeting with the heads of department, Jacob uses the opportunity to stick up for his nursing team.
Connie’s blindsided by Jacob’s behavior and, afterward, she gives him a dressing down. As sparks fly, professional differences turn passionate, and soon they’re using Connie’s office desk in a manner that breaches several health-and-safety regulations!
TV Times called the always funny and friendly Charles to get the inside story on Jacob and Connie’s long-awaited reunion.
Sadly, it’s the last episode of Casualty for some time as filming completely shut down during lockdown for the first time in the show’s 34-year history.
Here, Charles, 47, tells us more…
A lot of Casualty fans are going to be very happy this Saturday…
