You might not recognise her, but Faenia Moore is as much a part of C4’s The Great British Bake Off as the bunting, and bakers. The home economist spends months helping auditionees to make it into the famous white tent. She also sources hundreds of ingredients, oversees equipment and bedecks the set with bakes.
The key to coping with her colossal responsibilities? ‘I like a list,’ laughs Faenia, 35. ‘I make lists of lists, have three highlighters, and a crossing-off system. You have to be organised or it’s chaos. Before the series, I spend a month sorting ingredients.
