COMIC RELIEF
LIVE FRIDAY / BBC1 & BBC2 / FROM 7PM / ENTERTAINMENT
Grab your Red Noses and get ready for an unmissable evening of surprises and laughter as a gaggle of celebrities put the fun into fundraising for Comic Relief.
Sir Lenny Henry will take the helm of this year’s Red Nose Day appeal, which will be broadcast live on BBC1 from MediaCityUK in Salford, alongside Zoe Ball, Alesha Dixon, Paddy McGuinness and David Tennant.
The quintet of presenters are set to bring us comedy sketches, special editions of some of our favourite shows and musical performances to encourage viewers to support Comic Relief projects at home and abroad that tackle homelessness, hunger, domestic abuse, mental health issues and other good causes.
Here, Sir Lenny, 63, and Zoe, 51, tell us why they hope this year’s heart-warming extravaganza will unite the nation…
What kind of treats can we expect on the big night?
