Yasmeen may be out of Geoff’s clutches, but so far she has remained under his spell. Even the prospect of a lengthy prison term for attacking him in self-defence hasn’t been enough to get her to open up about his abuse, and she still worries about doing something to ‘upset’ him.
But much to Alya’s relief, progress is made this week, for Yasmeen not only lists some of the things Geoff did to her, but decides to plead not guilty to his attempted murder.
