But that EQ circuit is of the James Baxandall variety, offering a wide, smooth Q and a bump to the front end of your amp that Blackstar says is like adding two extra valve stages. Next up is the Dual Drive and Distortion, again featuring an ECC83 each running at amp-level voltages. Both Dual pedals give you two channels with Clean and Crunch voicings on channel one, and two flavours of gain on their second channels. There&rsquo;s also three-band EQ plus Blackstar&rsquo;s ISF control.<div style="page-break-before:always; page-break-after:always">But the big news here lies in the Dual pedals&rsquo; digital processing. Blackstar has developed its new Cab Rig emulation for the Dept. 10 Dual pedals, which not only gives you an emulated DSP cab simulator, complete with its own dedicated output for going direct to a PA or FRFR speaker, but allows for deep-dive editing of your virtual cab thanks to the free Architect software.Also on board is a USB audio interface for direct recording to a computer, as well as an FX loop for integrating your other pedals.
