30 Things To Do Before Summer
What's On Dubai|April 2018

Don’t let the cool weather pass you by without tanning in a new beach club, partying under the stars or dining alfresco

30 Things To Do Before Summer

EATING OUT

Pull up a pew, slap on some sunscreen and enjoy an alfresco feast

01 FOLLY

Modern European Folly By Nick & Scott has an intimate dining area inside, but its pièce de résistance is the outdoor terrace, which should be enjoyed before summer starts. There are two outdoor terrace bars, over three levels, all featuring views over the Madinat waterways and Burj Al Arab. Guests can sit at the communal table or the lounging nooks.

Madinat Jumeirah, Sun to Wed noon to 2.20pm, 7pm to 11pm, Thur to Sat 12.30pm to 3.30pm, 7pm to 11pm. Tel: (04) 4308535. Taxi: Madinat. folly.ae

02 NINIVE

Arguably the chicest, most Instagrammed outdoor majlis in town, a meal at Ninive feels like you’re on a mini holiday in Marrakesh. Slump in a cosy alcove underneath a canvas canopy or relax on a golden, velvety couch under the stars with a shisha. A brilliant alfresco spot to impress guests.

Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, Sat to Wed 4pm to 2am, Thur and Fri 4pm to 3am. Tel: (04) 3266105. Metro: Emirates Towers. ninive.ae

03 RIVA

Just before the summer hits, Riva Beach Club launches a new weekend deal – Saturday Chill & Grill. For Dhs80, get a plateful of grilled meats served with a selection of sides, plus access to the pool and private beach.

- Riva Beach Club, between Buildings 7 & 8 of The Shoreline, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, Sat 3pm to 7pm. Tel: (04) 4309466. Taxi: Riva Beach Club. riva-beach.com
