The beloved Aussie icon hasn’t given up the fight just yet.
As rumours swirl that Australia’s beloved golden girl, Olivia Newton-John has only weeks to live following her battle with stage-four bone cancer, her family and management have hastily spoken out to quash the whisperings that the Grease star is clinging to life.
In an exclusive Woman’s Day interview with a source close to Olivia, we can confirm that the singer is at her wits’ end over the negativity surrounding her illness, and was brought to tears after hearing of it.
“She has never been in denial about her illness – it’s deadly serious and certainly not going to go away. But it can be held at a certain level and that’s what has been happening over the last few months,” our insider reveals. “She’s being treated by the best and is responding better than anyone could have hoped. She understands that what she has can’t be cured – that would be a miracle.”
