Goldie:'I Said Yes To Kurt!'

Hollywood is littered with relationships that collapse under the weight of competing work schedules and intense public scrutiny. But there’s one union that’s always kept fans believing in lasting love – the steadfast romance between Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.

The couple have been together for 34 years and although they’re yet to wed, they made it clear last week that they’re just as crazy about each other now as the day they first met.

Goldie, 71, and Kurt, 66, kissed, cuddled and had each other laughing as they received joint stars on the hallowed Hollywood Walk of Fame. The touching ceremony was so heartfelt it could almost have been mistaken for the wedding they never had!

That fact certainly wasn’t lost on Goldie’s famous daughter Kate Hudson, who is estranged from her biological father Bill Hudson and regards Kurt as a father figure and a man she deeply admires.

“I was slotted in to talk about my mother, but I have two parents and they’re both here,” a proud Kate said in her speech last week. “I always thought I’d be talking about them at a wedding or something. But since a wedding doesn’t seem to be in our near future, this seems to be my only opportunity.”
