Traveling: fun, adventure, luxury! But also, traveling alone, as a woman: sounds a bit sad, if not scary? When you think travel pieces for women, you think “Top 10 Safest Places for Women Traveling Alone,” or more accurately, “Where to Go to Have Fun and Not Get Kidnapped.” While these are legitimate searches one can find in my Google history, let’s get to the, erm, surprising reason why I (and many women out there) love traveling alone: to have fun! Oh, no way, you ask? It’s not about soul-searching, you ask? It’s not about falling in love with a stranger, you ask? Well, I’m just out here to have a good time. To eat all the good food. To brave the fear of a stranger running away with my phone when I ask them to take my OOTD.
