Some of us may have known her as a stylist, but today Crystal Birch is a milliner and businesswoman, continuously inspiring us with new imaginative hat collections that invite us into her wonderful world. Here, the ever-sowelcoming milliner sheds some light on the past, present and future.
Before you tapped into the milliner business, how did you end up finding yourself in the styling world?
I started cutting up my clothes as a four-year-old and knew then that I would like to reimagine other designers’ clothing one day. After studying fashion at the Elizabeth Galloway Academy of Fashion, I became a stylist to prevent a routine studio life as a designer. This way, I could travel and play around on set with everyone else’s designs.
