How do you feel about the red-carpet aspect of your job?
I look at it as a character, a fun character who gets to feel fancy and wear chic clothes from beautiful brands that I don’t necessarily wear in my everyday life. It’s wonderful to partner with brands like Cartier and then give the pieces back and fold back into motherhood, into regular life. My children really love the novelty of seeing Mummy get dressed up, and they often have their opinions on my clothes and the way I look and which shoes to wear. My boys in particular love picking out dresses with my stylist, Annabelle Harron.
Do you listen to their opinion sometimes?
I do! Often Annabelle will say, “Bodhi, do you think these shoes or do you think those shoes?” when she’s still trying to figure out which pair I should wear, and he’ll be like, “These ones.” And he feels a great sense of pride when we listen to his choices.
Why work with Cartier?
