We talk to the Queen about her maiden voyage with her new travel show
SHE MAY HAVE PASSED ON THE CROWN, but Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is no less regal as she poses for her high fashion photos for Metro’s cover shoot. the crew caught up with her in between her hectic schedule right on the coattails of her movie’s theater release and on the whirlwind of promotions for her upcoming series titled Pia’s Postcards.
The travel show follows her around as she sets out to conquer the world (the universe, rather), taking in the sights and talking to inspiring global Filipinos. She lets out that she was feeling under the weather, but like a true pro, she pulls out all the stops for her photo shoot and takes time to answer our questions about life outside the pageant circuit and the future she is building for herself.
“I like having a travel show, it is a good excuse for me to travel for free,” she grins. “I especially like this show because there is more to it than me going to different countries and different places in the philippines. we actually interview a globally renowned Filipino about what they went through, how long it took for them to get there, and where they were originally from. It is always nice because they have inspiring stories. I am excited to see what else there is for me!” she gushes.
