I had a dream of either getting into medicine or law when I was younger but got influenced by my father who was a thriving accountant to enroll for Bachelors of Commerce in Accounting at KU in 2001 and did CPA (Certified Public Accounting) on the side.
In 2004 at 21 years old I was hired as an associate at Price Waterhouse Cooper as an associate, a position whose acquisition boils down to employability skills due to competitiveness. I owe it to PwC for every ethical skill I have today, they are a fantastic training ground. Within 5 years I climbed the ladder to a managerial position which coincidentally concurred with a secondment (temporary transfer) to the United Kingdom for credit crunch [running audits and advice on liquidity risk management] for the banks I was assigned to.
