Water is like fuel to the human body, two-third of the human body is totally dependent on water. It’s essential to understand why drinking the right quantity of water everyday day is important for the proper functioning of human body and how dehydration can lead to several problems.
DAILY WATER REQUIREMENT
Human body requires at least 2-2.5 litres of water per day. Various foods that are high in water content add to the quantity of water consumed. Keeping in mind that almost one litre of water intake is through the food we eat, it is important to ensure that you drink at least1.5-2 litres water to meet the body’s requirement.
