One can’t argue the fact that Scotland and single malt Scotch whisky are synonymous. But for me both were, almost entirely, new experiences. So when I got a call to host a whisky show on TV, I gave it the go ahead in a jiffy! After all, how bad could the combination be – Scotland and Whisky?
And that’s how the journey began. Here I was in Dufftown, Scotland, all set for the show that transports you to the whisky capital of the world. The fortnight that I spent in Scotland discovering whisky were phenomenal and has arguably shaped my taste buds forever, turning me into a bit of a whisky maverick myself. Allow me to elaborate.
