Love Conquers All
VOGUE India|January 2021
Pandemic or not, the wedding must go on. As couples pivot to intimate ceremonies and online celebrations, so have we. Here’s the 411 on the Vogue Wedding Show’s all-new digital avatar hitting screens in March.

Love Conquers All

Before the dream wedding, comes the hunt for the dream wedding dress and the perfect backdrop to exchange your vows. And Vogue India has always been that BFF on speed dial to hold your hand through every all-important decision you’re required to make as a bride—traditional red or pastel pink for the big day? Polkis or diamonds? Palace wedding or pheras on the beach? Hydrangeas or tuberoses for the centrepieces? All this, not just through the pages you’re now reading but also by bringing you one-on-one face time with the very best in the business.

This was the very reason that birthed the annual Vogue Wedding Show seven years ago. The threeday August extravaganza immediately became a must-visit for every bride-to-be. The 1,500 families hosted in the last edition—not just from across the country but from New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai—will attest to this being the ultimate one-stop shop for all things wedding.

Now, with a pandemic on our hands, the intention hasn’t changed. If we’ve learnt one thing this past year, it is that love will always prevail. The spirit of celebration cannot be dampened, even if it means that the ‘I do’ must move from the countryside to your backyard at the very last minute. And while we may not be able to take over the ballrooms of Taj Palace, New Delhi, this year, we can still help you navigate the sometimes choppy waters of wedding planning.
