Morning mantra: “I like to read a chapter from the Bible first thing in the morning, usually psalms or proverbs. Then I make a matcha latte with almond milk and try to finish it before my children wake up. It’s hard to ignore the phone in the morning, so I am guilty of checking my social media, but I run to my children’s room at the first sound of them waking up.”
Sleep schedule: “I try to sleep for a full eight hours, but I usually end up compromising with six or seven hours.”
Beauty bytes: “I apply a vitamin C serum with Sun Bum Original SPF 50 Clear Zinc Sunscreen. It’s really important to use sunscreen when using salicylic, glycolic and lactic acid products, thus the religious sunscreen application. My Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel exfoliates and brightens my skin in minutes. I also love Chanel’s Hydra Beauty Essence Mist and La Crème Main, the hand cream. If I simply want to indulge my skin, I’ll use A.S Apothecary Wild Beauty Balm Concentrate in rose, lavender, hemp, calendula or pomegranate.”
Midnight magic potion: “My 35% Vitamin C + Perfecting Serum from Allies of Skin works overnight for me. I also love Sunday Riley’s Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment.
I’ll layer both if I want to look especially good in the morning.”
