Staying Active In Winter Season

Winter is here...

Winters can make us curl up with our couch and make us lazy and slow us down. But exercise is important for the body. It helps to maintain physical and mental health as well as improve our immunity and strength to fight various infections and diseases. Being active during the winter season is always necessary as it helps improve our mood, increase energy levels and help us to sleep better. So let's see how we can get past the qualms of frigid temperature and keep ourselves moving.

Here are a few exercises which can help us stay on our toes:

• Walking either at a normal pace or brisk walking can warm up the body. One can practice it indoors or even outside with proper clothing.

• If you're an amateur runner or a competitive runner, practising running in winter will boost up your energy levels and help you in maintaining good physical and mental health.
