Maintaining this true entrepreneurial spirit way back in the early 1960s, Mr. P.S Nanda Kumar, Founder of the popular Nanda Group, made a prominent name for himself in the Indian poultry industry. A first generation entrepreneur, he established the poultry industry in India, he grew the industry and also grew along with the industry. Organizing the sector, he has also been one of the few early participants establishing NECC (National Egg Coordination Committee), giving the industry shape and making it economically viable for farmers. The Nanda group is also one of the oldest franchisee and an associate of Venkateshwara Hatcheries Pvt Ltd, Pune, and Asia’s largest Poultry Enterprise.
