Gluten-Free Waffles

These gluten-free waffles with nutty chocolate sauce are a Sunday breakfast tradition at my place and everyone looks forward to waking up to them. Even though they’re gluten-free, they have the traditional taste and texture of regular waffles — crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. I love to serve these waffles with my homemade nutty chocolate sauce teamed with tangy strawberries and coconut yogurt. This recipe is simple to follow, so perhaps it’ll become a weekly tradition to make in your household, too!

Gluten-free waffles with nutty chocolate sauce

» SERVES 2-3

1 cup buckwheat flour

½ cup almond flour or almond meal

½ tsp cinnamon

¼ cup of coconut sugar

1 tsp gluten-free baking powder

½ tsp baking soda
